About Betty
Hi there! My name’s Betty, the French Bulldog, and if you’re looking for a little pocket rocket, I’m the dog for you!
I can be a little shy at first, but once I get to know you, I just love, love, love my humans. At a svelte 21kgs, I’m the perfect sized companion to spend time with you, both indoors and outdoors. Whether it’s sitting on your lap having cuddles, or running around the back yard, I’m happy if I’m with you. I’m a firm believer that my humans should get all the love and attention they deserve!
I’ve had a bit of a tough past, but my foster family have been helping me to work on my good behaviour. I’m getting much better at sitting, not jumping up, not pawing for attention and not being nervous. I walk well on the lead and I do pretty well in the car. I try really hard and always aim to please.
I’ve been doing really well with my foster brothers and sister dogs, and I’m even good with the cat, but I do struggle a little not being the centre of attention. My ideal home would have no other dogs and no small children, then I can get all of the attention and I won’t accidentally knock anyone over while I’m still learning.
I would prefer to be an inside dog most of the time, maybe with access to the outside during the day. It’s previously reported that I can be a bit of an explorer, so a secure yard is a must for me.
I’m currently living in Ipswich, QLD with my foster family. I’ve been desexed, vet checked, and I’m up to date with vaccinations, so I’m ready when you are! Please submit an application to adopt me here https://www.minisbulldogrescue.com/apply

Applicants will be assessed in terms of best suitability for the dog. A meet & greet and yard inspection are essential parts of the screening process.
The first 2 weeks for every adoption is a trial period to ensure that both the dog and family are a good match. And once everyone is happy the dog's microchip will be changed across to the new family.
