About Alaska
Alaska - 2 yo Male - Malamute
Alaska is a very large dog, 60kg plus, and lacks adequate lead skills, so he requires a family that is committed to obedience training and regular exercise to help trim him down.
He has lived with kids before and loves them, but due to his size would not be suited to a home with very young children.
Alaska is a homebody that loves nothing more than snoozing under the aircon. He’s gotten used to literally dragging his handler around on walks, so is in serious need of a competent, committed family to teach his big boof head how to behave like a gentleman on lead. He’s more confident than his sister, though is wary of new things. He requires a home that can expose him to new things in a positive way.
He needs secure 5 foot fencing.
