About Archie ~ Cavalier x Foxy (on trial 21/10/18)
This gorgeous boy is Archie who is a nearly 2 year old, tri coloured Cavalier x Foxy. How can anyone resist that adorable little face! Archie is a loving, beautiful natured boy looking for some love and patience. He likes nothing more than a cuddle on the lounge with loads of attention and why wouldn’t you give it to him!
Archie loves his ball so a good game of fetch is something he loves to do. He also likes his walks but can be a bit nervous around dogs off lead. Archie has had some basic training but would run off if let off lead.
Archie doesn’t mind a bath and being groomed. He is also crate trained so sleeps in his crate of a night. It would be great if his crate was set up close by to you. This boy is not an outside dog and needs to be inside when someone is home. He wouldn’t suit a full time worker and is fantastic and super gentle with kids over 5 years of age. Archie is currently living with another smaller dog who he loves to play with so yes, it would be great if he had a furry play mate but not essential.
Archie does have a problem, he is struggling with toilet training. This is where the patience comes in. He really does need someone to commit to help him with this in a positive manner and has experience in this area. DRN has a trainer happy to give advice to help.
If you would like to meet Archie, please contact Lauren who is taking all enquiries for Archie by emailing hitthesand@hotmail.com Archie is located in Salamander Bay and is only up for adoption in the local area. You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
