About Mia
Mia always wears a smile!
Adorable Mia has a happy, fun attitude towards life, especially when she is with the people she adores. she loves all the company and pats that are offered to her and although Mia can be a little shy at first, she is very social and soon warms to new people.
Mia was surrendered to us with a number of dogs. She is used to having a lot of dogs around and WILL NOT be suitable to a home where she will an only dog. She won't be happy without a doggy friend. Mia is not overly playful but thrives in the company of her canine friends and may begin to enjoy some games after she has had a chance to settle in and feel in her new home. She will suit a home with a desexed MALE dog of similar size who is calm, friendly with others and does not show signs of dominance.
Pats and cuddles on the couch are this girl’s love language. She is toilet trained and crate trained and life as an indoor/outdoor dog with the opportunity to sleep inside overnight, will be the best new lifestyle for her.
Mia also enjoys a run and her social time at the local dog park. Her recall is improving (especially if there is an ear scratch waiting for her)!
Nothing really seems to faze her as long as she has the chance to approach new situations in her own time, without being pushed. She has been wonderful with kids, ignores cats, and leaves chickens alone if they are on the other side of a fence.
Mia will be a great addition to a young family who are willing to take Mia for a good daily walk to offer her the exercise and social stimulation she requires. Considering her breed, daily outings will be important for Mia to maintain a healthy weight.
This darling will be an amazing friend to anyone who will love her back! In return, we are seeking the perfect home for her individual personality.
Currently in care in Ballarat West, Victoria.
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
