About Bear ID42116
LEADER OF THE BAND. I'm a cat who does everything in a big way . I not only like to be in the middle of things--I like to lead the parade. I'm an adventurous cat, but I'll still make plenty of time to show you my affectionate side. I'm the demonstrative type' you might say. Want a cat who's brimming with confidence? That's me
Medical notes
Bear has special eyelids - Eyelid agenesis is a congenital defect of the eyelid in which typically the upper eyelid is not formed. The result is that conjunctiva (the mucous membrane that covers the front of the eye and lines the inside of the eyelids) is contiguous with skin, and this leads to exposure of the cornea (outer layer of the eye) from incomplete blinking, as well as irritation from contact of hairs with the cornea. Cryo-epilation was performed to permanently eliminate hairs from the defective area thereby relieving corneal irritation. The prognosis is excellent.
