About Riggall
Loyal little Riggall loves the company of everyone.
Riggall is a gorgeous boy who aims to please. He is looking for a home where unconditional love will be offered in return for his love and loyalty.
Riggall will do best in a home where he will be welcomed inside to spend lots of time with his special people. He loves the companionship of being close to his family members and wants a home where he can sleep inside. He is toilet trained and can hold on overnight. Riggll would sleep in a bed but would be extrmemely happy to have a human's bed to share. He does not enjoy the cold so being an inside/outside dog will be a must. Riggall is not crate trained but is comfortable in confined spaces and generally curls up for a sleep as long as there's a comfy spot to sit and not too much going on around him.
This little sweetie loves his car rides ad being out for walks, meeting new people and taking in new sights and smells. Riggall would do well with some leash training and is picking up some tips from his younger 'foster' brother and sister. He enjoys regular/daily walks but also loves his down times. He is very in tune with his people and always enjoys praise for being a good boy.
Riggall does not have fabulous recall but has only been in foster care for a short time so there is further opportunity to develop this.
Riggall's foster carer believes he is a very special boy. He loves to play with the other dogs, he enjoys his rough and tumble with them and responds well to social cues provided by other dogs as to when his rowdy play is enough.
Considering Riggall's social nature, he will be looking for a home where he will continue to have a desexed canine playmate. He will tolerate a home where his family members will be in and out as long as he has a friend to share these times with and some daily social stimulation. He is 6.5 years young but at times he still thinks he is a puppy. He does not like being alone and will require company and stimulation to prevent him becoming bored. Riggall had a playmate at his previous home before being surrendered to us and in our care, he seems really comfortable having his canine buddies around.
Riggal loves to play but also enjoys his cuddles on the couch. He will happily chill with you for a good movie and snuggle time.
He would well suit a family with older children. He is quite relaxed but we have not had the opportunity to test him with younger children so a home with kids 10+ will be the best match for this little boy.
He has not been tested with cats and wasn't around them in his previous home. For this reason, he will be best suited to a home with NO CATS!
When being left alone, Riggall may bark or twice and will then settle. It may take him a bit of time in his new home to understand that his loved ones will always return.
Being small, he will need a home with secure fencing and no holes to keep him safe while he adjusts to his new environment.
Over all, Riggall is adorable and a lot of fun!
Please contact us if you have any questions about Riggall or if you would like to offer his his wonderful future.
Currently in care in Brunswick, Victoria.
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
