About Susie
Meet Susie
Susie is a complete cuddle fiend and would love for nothing more than to sit with (or on) her family while getting pats and belly rubs all day!
Although she is 8 years old she has what seems sometimes like endless energy and curiosity and enjoys her walk everyday to check out what is going on in the neighbourhood. She is also a huge fan of car rides, and behaves very well while in the car. Susie doesn't mind being left on her own for some time each day as long as she gets her walks she will be happy!
Unfortunately Susie doesn't have any manners and her foster parents have been working with her to try and teach the basics (sit and stay), a family that can commit to providing ongoing training. She is very food motivated for human foods so that can be a great help. She has been doing very well with her toilet training, only had an accident inside in the beginning.
She has been great around all sorts of people and environments, and she has a very patient demeanour while being patted and touched, she does jump up to try and get pats from people so she would gentle enough for younger children but would need more training not to jump up.
Susie and other dogs have always gotten along fine, she is always out to make new dog friends but can be a bit shy if they approach her at first. Susie would happily live with another dog that is able to give her space. She wouldn't be suited to living in a home with cats as she is pretty keen on chasing them when they run!
Susie is fantastic, she is just a super adorable, cuddly, affectionate dog who we will be sad to see go, but any home that takes her is are going to be gaining such a joyful and loving family member.
Could Susie be the one for you?
