About Louis ~ Jack Russell x (on trial 13/10/18)
Meet Louis! This dapper chap is just as charming as he looks and more. Louis is a 4 year old Jack Russell Terrier X looking for his forever family. He is active, playful and adventurous.
Louis loves to hop in the car and go somewhere new to explore. He is very easy to walk on the lead and has great recall off lead. When he isn't out on a walk, he wants to be as close to his family as possible, preferably spending evenings on your lap or curled up in his bed with his favorite toy.
Louis sleeps indoors at night and if permitted, will cuddle under the covers. He is house trained, though did have a few accidents while settling into his foster home and new routine.
Louis currently lives with three other dogs. They mostly get along great, though he can be jealous of the prime position on his people’s lap and has shown some minor problems with the other male dog in the household. For this reason, he is best suited to someone who is dog savvy and prepared to integrate him slowly into his new household. Louis also lives with cats, and he is sensible with chooks, horses and kangaroos.
Louis is an extremely human-oriented dog, and would not enjoy too much time left home alone. He has not been tested with small children, so a family with kids over 8 would be preferred. Louis is clever, quirky and kind, and will be a loyal companion for many years to come.
For more information or to meet Louis, please contact his foster carer Freya on 0459739348 or fr3ydiddy@gmail.com Louis is in foster care in Cessnock, NSW and is available for adoption interstate. You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Louis’ adoption fee is $450 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
