About Pumba
Emaciated and scared when he arrived at the shelter poor Pumba thought the world had let him down! But within days he regained his faith in human kind and now after 4 months of intensive care, many veterinary visits, treatments, lots of nutritional food and love Pumba has become a much happier and healthier young lad.
With his poor start in life and being abandoned in less than hygienic circumstances, it is amazing to see that this sweet young lad 'Pumba' still has a happy and positive personality; he has certainly not let his past get him down.
Three times the man he used to be Pumba is ready and raring to go. He has so much affection to share and some basic doggie manners to help him settle in to his new home. He is very eager to please and a very quick learner especially when treats are being waived around.
Pumba absolutely loves feed time and inhales his food very quickly to try and trick you in to thinking he hasn't been fed yet. Because of this we would highly recommend that his new owners don't leave any type of food out on a bench or anywhere that Pumba can reach as it most likely won't be there when you return.
Pumba would love the companionship of a family who will include him in their daily activities, enjoy twice daily walks/runs, plenty of play time and a secure yard. Pumba is sure to bond quickly with his new family and become a very loyal and loving companion.
