About Corona D0975 on trial 3/11/18
This is Corona and he is a very special boy. It's believed his Mum was rather rough with him when he was a very small pup, and therefore as a result he has some battle scars. Corona is blind in one eye and has some scarring to the left side of his face. He also has a lump on one side of his neck, which is reducing weekly and our vet advises isn't causing any problems. It is most likely a haematoma. Corona does seem to lean slightly when walking which may be due to an injury to his inner ear when smaller.... it doesn't seem to affect him and there is not much that could be done - it is part of who he is! Corona loves his walks and is doing great on learning how to walk on lead; he also loves his trips to the beach. Corona is dog and cat social and just wants all the other animals to play with him! To keep him this friendly and happy boy, he will need ongoing socialisation with other dogs and people through his early years. He is learning some basic training and learning well. This training will need to continue in his new home.
Despite his rough start and his unique looks, Corona is a very loving, happy and sweet pup who loves life. He is a typical pup who loves chewing, so will need a good selection of toys to keep his teeth busy. He enjoys lazing out in the sun, playing with his big doggy brother in the yard (especially a game of tugger!) and receiving attention from his foster carers. For a young pup, Corona is quite placid and calm. He is great with his carer's young grand daughter: he doesn't jump up at her and loves a game of fetch the mini ball. He knows how to use a doggy door and doesn't mess indoors when he can access it. This gorgeous boy will make the most loving companion to any family.
If you are that special family who can see past his quirks to the gorgeous boy underneath and offer Corona a secure, loving home, please apply by filling in our full Enquiry Form:

Corona is blind in one eye and has some scarring to the left side of his face. He also has an enlarged lymph node on one side of his neck, which our vet advises us isn't causing any problems, although will need monitoring for any increase in size. He does seem to lean slightly when walking which may be due to an injury to his inner ear when smaller.... it doesn't seem to affect him and there is no treatment required.
