About Quinn 💖
Introducing Quinn....another of our super cute German Shepherd cross Cattle dogs. Quinn is currently being fostered in a home with 1 host dog, 3 host cats and of course, her humans (which includes young children and a toddler). Quinn has shown interest in the cats and being a working breed, does bark at them but shown no aggression towards them. She loves chasing her host dog around the yard and is still working on her fetch skills. She is an intelligent girl who is responding well to sit and stay commands and enjoys belly rubs and pats while sitting beside her humans.
Quinn sleeps outside, and is learning the routine in her foster home. We believe Quinn is a fast learner and will respond well to the challenge of ongoing training. There has been no food aggression or dominance shown while in foster care. She will ideally suit a very active lifestyle with a large yard or property for her to be able to stretch her legs! It's hard to say just how big this girl will grow, but she does have reasonably large paws with short little legs.
We are looking for a family or person who is willing to put in the time and effort with training and socialisation for Quinn. Someone who understands the needs of both a German Shepherd and working dogs would be ideal. While Quinn loves her Host dog, she is more then happy to have some time and a play on her own. She would need continued socialisation with other dogs during the puppy stage and into adulthood, as well as ongoing training so that she grows up to be a well mannered and socialised girl. We believe that Quinn will be a medium to large dog when fully grown. She is a beautiful natured puppy, and given the right environment we’re sure she will grow to be an extremely loyal, well mannered Shepherd.
We would love to help get you started with training, so our amazing supporters, Best Friends - Erina, have kindly offered to include a 5 week Puppy training course with all of our Puppy adoptions (up to 16wks of age)....The Best Friends Puppy Pre-School service is a fun and interactive five-week training course that covers puppy behaviours, diet, health, grooming, exercise and play, with an emphasis on socialisation, command training, health and care. Their aim is to teach you positive ways to train your puppy in basic skills such as ‘sit’, ‘drop’, ‘stay’, and how to walk well on a lead, but also how to control your puppy’s not so desirable behaviours like toileting inside, biting, mouthing and separation anxiety.
Quinn is located in Woy Woy, on the Central Coast, NSW. Her vet work will be complete on Friday 5th October and will be ready to head off to her forever home this coming weekend.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous girl. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, we will send you through an Adoption Questionnaire and then your enquiry will be passed onto the appropriate carer. Successful applications will be contacted via phone.
