About Ellie
All about me and my unique personality:
Ellie is a striking tortoiseshell kitten with stunning deep autumn colours through her coat. She is still a bit unsure of loud noises and the hustle and bustle of a home with young children; Ellie will find a safe place to sit until the chaos calms. Once she feels safe again, out she comes to explore, check out the resident cat and find someone with a patting hand. She can easily be located by the super loud purr she has!
She has missed her brothers very much and fretted for them. Since being in care a little while now, Ellie has come out of her shell and adores attention from people instead of just the interactions of another cat.
While still settling into care and missing her siblings, Ellie is a loving and affectionate girl who will happily follow you around to see what is going on….when she can be bothered removing herself from relaxing by a sunny window. Like the other kitten she has been in care with, she is finding her happy self more and more each day.
What is known about my background:
Ellie was born into a litter of seven. She was surrendered to a rural pound at about 6 months of age along with her siblings. Not long after she found herself in the foster care of HAR.
How do I interact with kids, cats, dogs and other pets?:
Ellie is a bit scared by loud boisterous children but is fine if they approach slowly and are calm and respectful of her. She may gain more confidence as time progresses but for this reason we recommend a home with children over 3 years. She has no nastiness in her though so if you believe you can provide a quiet home with a small child it may possible.
Ellie isn’t a fan of the resident dogs but with the right dog she may come around with gentle introductions. She will hiss at them but not run away.
She initially fretted for her brothers and refused to eat. Now that she has found her happy place in foster care she is happy to have a friend but equally as happy with the interactions of people instead.
