About Brownie
Brownie is affectionate, gentle and will love to finally find a human of her own!
She had been attacked by dogs and was rescued in a very remote part of the NT. Her rescuer treated her as best as possible with limited medications and Brownie recovered. She later received treatment from a visiting vet team and is in excellent health.
Brownie and other lovely older dogs had to wait to be rehomed as there were lots of puppies needing homes first so she was in foster care for over 2yrs.
We estimate? she is about 5yrs old, medium-sized and needs to lose a few kilos. We have no idea of the breed as is the case with all the dogs we re-home.
While in foster care in the NT she was picked on by several small dogs so she would hide. She is a very submissive dog. So it was time for Brownie to come to Sydney to find her forever home.
Brownie just loves human attention, is starting to learn to walk on lead and get used to the sights and sounds of the city and is happy in the car.
We think she will be ok with cats. She may have lived with children in her past??
She is a low energy dog who wants her own special human.
Brownie flew from Alice Springs to Sydney and is now in foster care in Kingsford near the University of New South Wales
