About Poppy! *On Trial in Her New Home*
*POPPY IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Meet Poppy the pocket rocket!!! Weighing in at only 6.7kgs she kinda looks like a Kelpie who shrunk in the wash! Her foster family describe her as a fun-loving, intelligent and sweet girl with a BIG personality that comes in a compact size. Poppy is a happy and playful little dog with a real love for life, how she ended up unclaimed in a pound is anyone’s guess but she’s safe now and ready to find her forever home; will it be with you?
A list of things Poppy loves:
Loves cuddles!
Loves dogs!
Loves cats!
Loves going for walks!
Loves food especially treats!
Loves toys!
Loves chasing balls!
And most of all she loves humans!!!
This gorgeous love-bug has settled in well into foster care where she’s having a wonderful time with her carers own little dog as well as the household cat……in fact Poppy would love a home with some furry company if you were to be away at work for much of the day. She rarely stops wagging her cute tail as she really does love humans of all shapes and sizes, and would do well in a home with energetic school aged children.
Poppy is an attentive little dog who is very switched on and aware, alerting her foster family if people are approaching the house, but her barking is not incessant.
This clever girl has mastered “sit” and is great on a lead and loves to go for a walk. Poppy quickly picked up the name we chose for her and has good recall. She is toilet-trained as well as crate trained and likes spending time inside with her foster family so we would want this indoor / outdoor lifestyle continued in her forever home.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
