Hi, my name is Jet and I came into care as a bonded pair with Reggie the Beagle. However, since I am a typical Dane and do not know my own size, I accidentally hurt Reggie when we were playing and now he needs surgery... Opps, I didn't meant to!

They decided to separate me from him and I am currently in care with an elderly bulldog and I am learning that I can be confident on my own and I don't have to rely on Reggie. I can be rather reserved when meeting people for the first time, but warm up quickly. I don't mind other dogs as long as they don't scare me, I would be best suited to a mellow dog who won't get up in my face when we first meet. Since I accidentally hurt my brother Reggie, I would be best in a home with a medium sized dog and bigger. I am learning to walk nicely on the Halti and although its a bit annoying, I am making progress and learning to walk well on the lead, but I can be a big puller. I am also a bit sound sensitive, so loud noises and busy areas can worry me when I am on lead. But being the older gentleman, all I want is the quieter lifestyle, I am hitting my retirement years, so all I need is a couch to snooze on.

I don't mind older kids, if they are nice and calm and not loud and move quickly. So I have asked that any kids in the home be in teenage years. As for poultry and cats, I am just very scared of them, so I would prefer a home without them, or where they can be separated where they can't come near me and give me a frighten.
