About Lyric
Hi there! My name is Lyric but my foster mum calls me lady lyric. A kind member of the public found me and took me into the team at Nepean Animal Hospital for some TLC. From here I met my foster mum Courtney who let me board with her until I found something more permanent. I will admit I was very scared when I first moved in and I didn’t really come out of my bed much but after some time and lots of patience I discovered that humans aren’t so scary... and they also feed me so that’s a bonus!
I am still quite shy around new people and loud noises can scare me, but if you give me some time to warm up to you I’ll be laying on your lap under a fluffy blanket watching some Netflix in no time! Food is a really great motivator for me and FYI, my favorite treat is chicken.
My foster mum says I have looks that can stop a truck and brains to match. I like playing hide and seek, I hide and you try to find me. Don’t worry I take it easy on you and usually end up in the same spot (near a window in the sun).
I have meet other cats before and it did take some time but I really like playing with the other cats! I haven’t met any children yet so I don’t know how I would go with them. Based on my timid personality though, I think I would be better suited in a household with adults or older children.
As much as I love my foster family, I would love to find a more permanent home. If you believe I could be the furry family member you are wanting please contact the Adoptions coordinator Courtney at adoptions@wellpet.com.au or on (02) 4733 3456 and she would be happy to give you some more information about me and organize a potential date for us to meet.
I look forward to getting some pats from you when we meet 😊
XO Lady Lyric (I like my nick name)
Medical notes
As mentioned above, Lyric has already had her de-sexing surgery as well as her microchip implant. She has been kept up-to-date with her flea and worm prevention, All of her kitten vaccinations are included in the adoption fee.
Adoption details
Please take the time to browse through some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption. Keep in mind that we have many other cats that have not yet made it to this page who are looking for their forever homes. If you don't find the pet you're looking for we encourage you to contact our clinic directly on (02) 47333456 and leave your details with the adoption coordinator.
Please be advised that we do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for them is too high to keep up-dating. However, we always have lots of new kittens in the program looking for their purr-fect family.
Our adoption process includes a meet and greet with our adoption coordinator and the kitten or cat(s) you are interested in adopting. This is where you can ask any questions you might have and discuss the suitability of this pet to your lifestyle, and all the inclusions of the adoption fee.
