About Rosie
Hello everyone, my name is Rosie and it is so nice to meet you. If you can take a minute to stop looking at my beautiful face, I'd like to tell you a little about myself.
I am the sweetest girl you will ever meet. I am very affectionate and loyal, and I will go out of my way to show you how much I love you. When my carer collected me from the airport after my flight, I hugged him and kissed his face all the way to the car. I was home - and so grateful!
You see, I was scheduled to die. But not only that. On a Friday morning I was sedated, ready to be euthanised. This was it, my short life was over before it even began. But then a call came in to the pound! BVAR were on the phone to put a save on my life!!!! The pound staff were so happy that I was going to be free! I waited patiently in the pound a few more days before my flight was organised to bring me to freedom. I was so happy to finally get out of the cage that I danced and danced.
When I arrived in care, I made sure everyone knew just how special I was. I was so excited to see everyone's friendly faces. I got so many pats and cuddles and got to run around a big yard. I am such a happy girl!
I am great with other dogs, but sometimes I can be a bit bossy, but as long as I have a proper introduction, I am fine. I am great with kids, but I have been told that not everyone appreciates jumping, so I've been told I need to tone that down a bit. I can sit, and wait for my food - I am quite a well behaved young lady!
I love to play, and being a working breed, I could play for hours and hours! I love to run, chase toys, all the while with my favourite humans by my side. I am best suited to a home without cats or birds.
I was literally saved within inches of my life, and I know it, and I am making sure that I make the most out of every day. I just hope that I can find a family to share that with
Adoption details
To enquire about an animal available for adoption, please contact us via Facebook or send an email to bellevieanimalrescue@gmail.com. We will respond within 48 hours and send a questionnaire for you to complete.
Applications are not approved on a first in, best dressed basis, rather we will assess on your suitability. Should we believe that the animal you have applied for may not suit your home or lifestyle, we will work with you until we find your perfect match.
Upon approval of your application, we will organise a mutually convenient time and location to do the meet and greet. If the meet is successful, there will be an adoption contract to complete and sign and the full adoption amount is required unless previously organised with Belle Vie Animal Rescue. Your adoption pack will include a copy of the contract for you, all vet work and a microchip change of ownership form, which will be filled out and submitted by BVAR at the end of the adoption trial.
