Hi my name is Scorcher,
I’m a lovable snuggly dog, with energy to spare. I’m approximately 3 years old, I have basic training of sit, stay and wait for dinner, I’m also working on shake.
Due to my breed, I need a home that has either a daily active lifestyle, that I can join in with (a running buddy would be awesome), and/or a doggy friend I can play with during the day to keep me entertained.
I currently live with two female Kelpies and an older male Pomeranian, so I haven’t had any trouble with boredom digging, or barking, but I may, if left to my own devices for long hours during the day and not exercised morning and night.
I am crate trained during the night, but prefer to be out to be able to do my own thing during the day.
I have a submissive temperament and have met a lot of different shapes and size dogs, all of which I’ve got on with well.
I’m a pretty easy going doggo, I love hanging out with my humans, especially the smaller ones, just watching over them making sure they are ok and sneaking in for a cuddle when I can.
I love playing with my foster sisters and brother during the day, but also like to head off sniffing or snoozing by myself.
I can walk well on a lead with collar or by body harness, I have pretty good recall with my foster family, sometimes testing it a bit by stopping, but not coming, when something has caught my eye, but I have been getting better at this with training.
I am house trained, but need easy access to outside as I tend to leave it til last minute to relive myself, as I may miss out on something.
I am not cat aggressive, nor am I cat friendly, I’m cat interested? I currently live with two foster cat siblings, both of which I enjoy stalking around the yard and mouthing at their scruffs if they stop moving, in hope that will get them going again, I don’t hurt my cats, but also don’t realize I’m quite a bit bigger, so with supervision I could be taught to be more gentle, but it would be easier for my new family if you didn’t have a cat.
I hope to meet my forever family soon, maybe you could be the right fit for me, I’m certain my foster Mum will ask you lots of questions, as she wants me to go to the best home to fit me, so I never end up needing a new home again! If you can offer me everything I am looking for please apply/enquire only through this link
