About Poppie
Hello darlings, my name is Poppie and it is an absolute pleasure to meet you. I am a seasoned, older lady so you will have absolutely no nonsense from me. I enjoy knitting, crochet, a glass of red wine at dinner and walking through the garden to smell the roses.
You may be wondering how a lovely old lass like me, came to be in foster care at the ripe old age of 7. Well, it is a long story, one that I am not fond of telling as it breaks my heart. I was abandoned by the one I love. Thankfully, I was taken in by a kind family for several months until they could work out what to do with me, and well, here I am, safe and snug in BVAR care.
Since arriving in care I have had everyone fall in love with me due to my sweet, loving nature. I adore children and I am ever so gentle with them, and get a long fine with other canines. I am very well behaved in the house and I am toilet trained, so no messes inside at all.
I love a good pat, and a sleep on the bed, and will even tuck myself in for a snooze if you're too busy. Just don't forget to come and give me a kiss goodnight, and tell me you will see me in the morning <3
Adoption details
To enquire about an animal available for adoption, please contact us via Facebook or send an email to bellevieanimalrescue@gmail.com. We will respond within 48 hours and send a questionnaire for you to complete.
Applications are not approved on a first in, best dressed basis, rather we will assess on your suitability. Should we believe that the animal you have applied for may not suit your home or lifestyle, we will work with you until we find your perfect match.
Upon approval of your application, we will organise a mutually convenient time and location to do the meet and greet. If the meet is successful, there will be an adoption contract to complete and sign and the full adoption amount is required unless previously organised with Belle Vie Animal Rescue. Your adoption pack will include a copy of the contract for you, all vet work and a microchip change of ownership form, which will be filled out and submitted by BVAR at the end of the adoption trial.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
