Redroan Red Heeler

Ned is a 12 month old gentle Red Roan Red Heeler...

Saved by a lovely Veterinarian who has done his basic training, desexed,michrochipped and vaccinated him.
Ned also has an intermittent limp, which will be with him for life and will need to be rehomed to a family who understand he can not be a farm dog or a dog that does agility. For if he runs to hard for to long, his limp is magnified and the only remedy the vet has found is rest...
other than that he has settled in to foster care,with other foster dogs his own size very well, and even found a best buddy to play with all day!
Ned travels well inside a car or on the back of a ute and is good amongst people walking down the street or at a market atmosphere.
He does like to get reasurance from you by touching your hand with his nose every so often and loooves a good pat and will lay at your feet at the end of the day.

Ned has basic training and will sit,come,stay,drop and shake hands on command.He walks well on lead and harness and has excellent recall at the off leash oval.

Ned has been introduced to some of our dog friendly cats but Ned wasn't to sure and if the cats ran his instinct kicked in and he wanted to chase.
Ned is not housetrained as yet ,but we are working on it while he is in foster care!

All Ned needs is a loving person or family that understands his daily needs and is prepared to put in time and patience with his housetraining.
Gentle Ned just wants to live a quiet routine life, with a daily walk or swim,sit with you while you have your morning cuppa,go on holidays with you or play all day with a doggie best friend his own size and greet you every evening.

All CARMAR cats & canines are fostered in private homes, so are used to the comings and goings ,noises ,smells and environments of a normal household. They are all temperament tested, recieve basic training, are desexed, michrochipped,vaccinated,wormed, flea free.
