About Luna ~ Labrador x (on trial 4/10/2018)
I’m Luna! an 8 month old, female black Labrador x. I’m a very loving and playful puppy once you gain my trust.
When I’m settled into my new home, I really do love a good scratch under my chin and I also love a good massage while being bathed. I really like to chase the ball, go for walks, chew on a chew toy, meet other puppies and lay in the sun for a rest. Oh, and I love to play in water!
My ideal home would have to be someone or a family with lots of love and patience for me to learn love you back. At first I may be a little scared of lady humans and I do prefer you to sit down to meet me. After a while, I will be your best friend forever.
I am coming along well with gentle training. I am learning not to wee inside apart and to bring the ball back. I am still a bit scared of the lead, but I’m fine once it’s on. I’d love to do some more training with my new forever family.
I currently sleep outside, but I am learning to be a good girl inside too. I am good with other dogs, but I also don’t mind being on my own if I have some chew toys to play with. I currently live with a cat too and we get along fine. I am ok around horses and chickens so I’m happy if you have other pets. I can jump a little when I am excited so I might be best with slightly older children, but I’d be a great family dog.
For more information or to meet me, please contact my foster carer Melissa at mkhealth79@outlook.com or on 0434 093 245. I am in foster care in the Newcastle area, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Luna’s adoption fee is $500 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom of the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire: https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two-week trial begins on the day of adoption.
