About Selene
**LONG-TERM FOSTER CARER WANTED**
Sensational Selene is one very special kitty! Pure white - and pure gorgeous - this sweet, snuggly young lady is on the hunt for a purrfect new foster home, preferably on a long-term to permanent basis.
Selene is one of Maggie's Rescue's 'Sanctuary' pets, which means she will remain under our care for her lifetime. If you'd love to offer a safe, secure foster home to a beautiful cat with the added benefit of developing a long-term bond - knowing that all veterinary needs will be taken care of by Maggie's - then we would love to hear from you :)
**If you'd like to become Selene's foster carer, please go to http://www.maggiesrescue.org/foster, click 'Become a Cat Foster Carer' and complete the form. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the PetRescue profile.**
MY IDEAL FOSTER HOME: I'm a playful, affectionate girl who adores hands-on attention! My favourite things are being stroked, having my soft-as-a-cloud coat brushed, and chasing strings and sticks around the floor.
Chances are I'll take a little while to find my feet in a new house as I've been with my current carer for a long time, so a very patient, calm person or couple who'll let me get comfortable on my own schedule will be the best match for me.
I'm also looking for an indoors-only foster home as I'm susceptible to sunburn, plus I have a limp from an old injury, which makes it harder for me to get away from danger.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Medium, I'd say. I'm always up for a good play, but am just as happy lounging around with you or snuggled up in a quiet spot.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: My personality is not well-suited to the hustle and bustle of family life, unfortunately.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Because of my gentle nature, I am easily bullied by more confident kitties and a bit scared of dogs. As such, I'm looking for a foster home without any other pets in residence.
*Currently in foster care in Mortdale, Sydney*
Medical notes
Selene has a heart murmur, which is currently stable and non-medicated.
