Meet Conan!
This well travelled boy has lived in the north of the state and is now down in Esperance awaiting a new home.
Conan is a very affectionate, clever boy who loves to be around people and other dogs. He’s a little cautious when first meeting new people, but soon comes around once he knows that he’s safe. He has been around children and has lived with another similar sized dog. He has also lived with a cat, so would be fine if a cat is already in his new home, as long as gentle introductions are made.
He loves to go out for walks and to the beach, he’s a complete water baby and loves to swim! It makes him very excitable and he yelps with happiness when he’s in the water. He is housetrained and knows a few commands. As Conan is a very intelligent dog he would be easy to train if you wanted to do agility work with him. He does guard his food a little so will need some guidance with this.
Conan loves to play tug of war and also fetch with a stick, and will happily do this for hours before curling up for a snooze. He really loves his playtime and it is essential for his health and happiness. Conan also LOVES to ride in the car, he’ll yelp with excitement and stick his head out of the window to watch the wheels go round. He will need some guidance to control this over-enthusiasm and calm him down just a bit.
His ideal home will be with a family who have a large yard so he can burn off energy, someone who will include him as part of the family. He’s a big softie so also needs lots of hugs and he loves a big scratch from his human.He would also make a great tradie dog. He will also need to be able to sleep inside at night.
