About Hamish
Hamish came to us from the Pound with his little mate who found a home quickly, while Hamish has been waiting for months.
It’s not as though there is anything wrong with Hamish, he can be a little shy with men when he first meets them, but quickly warms to them. He’s a dream with other dogs and kids (his foster family have 3 children from 5 - 15 years).
He’s an absolute delight to walk on leash, in fact the 5 year old in his human family, can easily walk him on a loose leash.
He’s a fun boy who loves to play with the kids and his mate Rusty (listed separately).
They have a huge amount of fun together and keep each other company when the kids are at school. Their dream home is one where they won’t have to be separated and can be BFF - poor Hamish has seen many foster siblings get chosen, while he is always overlooked, then he’s depressed until a new foster friend arrives, then the cycle starts over again.
They love going for walks after school and on the weekends or for a play or chasing mice in the paddock adjoining their home.
Hamish would like a home with another dog for companionship as he’s always had a canine friend. He’s in care at Moree, NSW.
Hamish is available for a donation to his rescue group.
Moree has daily flights to Sydney and further afield. Road transport also passes through Moree on a fortnightly basis.
