About Matilda ~ Mastiff x puppy (on trial 26/10/18)
Matilda is a very affectionate and happy 15 week old Mastiff x puppy. Just look at that face!
She has very quickly mastered the doggy door, and is doing very well with her toilet training. She spends her time eating, playing with her sister and foster sisters and sleeping (like only an exhausted puppy can). Matilda loves everyone she meets, human and animal alike.
Matilda will grow up to be a medium-large dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
Matilda would love to have another dog to play with and keep her company, or it would be good if someone in the household doesn't work full time. Matilda has been allowed to come in and out of the house at will (because she’s a clever girl and uses the doggy door), but she is a puppy and still needs to be taken outside regularly for toilet breaks. She’s a quick learner. She loves playing outside, but also loves your company inside, particularly when tired.
Matilda needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. You need good fencing with no small gaps. She can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire). Although she loves to play outside she needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. Matilda will be a wonderful family and loves to play ball and have cuddles. You will need good fencing with no gaps.
As Matilda is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's approximately 5 months old.
For more information or to meet Matilda, please send the application form (https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt) to my foster mum Nerissa at nerissa.g.lowe@gmail.com. Matilda is in care in the Newcastle area, NSW.
Matilda's adoption fee is $ 550 and includes her desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and she's been treated for fleas and worms.
Medical notes

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom of the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire: https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two-week trial begins on the day of adoption.
