If show stopping looks and a loyal companion are what you’re looking for, then look no further than this absolutely gorgeous girl. Ruger is just the most delightful girl to have around whenever you go.

Ruger loves people and is always the first to run up and greet everyone. She is very polite and will sit patiently with her tail wagging until she gets her pats. Even with her large size she is fantastic with children and is very respectful of them.

At the dog park Ruger is an absolute gem. She is so gentle with puppies and small dogs, but will have a good tumble with dogs her size. She gets along with every dog she has come across and loves to play chase. Her recall is almost there, but she will always be right by your side if you walk In the other direction, she never strays far.

Ruger is a smart cookie and picks new things up with ease. She is working on her basic obedience and is currently working on: sit, stay, come, give, drop and waiting for food. She walks well on lead and loves walks, however her new owner should be prepared to continue her training as she is only young and will need on going work to keep her a balanced dog.

Although a couch potato, Ruger will need a decent amount of exercise daily in the form of a run or a visit to an off leash dog park to keep her happy and social. She travels really well in the car and is always up for an adventure.

At home, Ruger loves nothing more than a snuggle on the couch or playing with her toys. She is toilet trained and will let you know when she needs to go outside. She sleeps through the night and is fantastic when visitors are over.

Ruger will need a home with another friendly dog to play with and keep her company when no one is home. She should have access to inside at all times and have a warm comfy bed to sleep on inside at night. We are looking for someone with large breed experience and who is home more often than not, who understands how essential on going training is for a dog like Ruger.

She is a dream with kids, however she does like to grab things around the house and run off with them, so a house with young kids may not be suitable, as the toys and clothes left on the floor would be too much of a temptation for her.
