About Rex ~ Red Cattle Dog (on trial 11/11/2018)
Introducing the Rex! Rex is a 6 month old Red Cattle dog boy. He is currently in foster care with 4 other dogs and gets along well with them. Being a puppy he loves to play!
Rex understands basic commands like sit (although you need to have his full attention first). He would love for his furever family to continue his training as he is a very smart dog and picks things up quickly. Rex is currently learning to be house trained, his training is going well.
Rex is very affectionate, although due to his eventual size his foster parents would recommend older children or children who have experience with larger dogs. Rex is a very playful dog and loves his toys.
Rex would love to go to a furever home where he has another playmate to keep him company although this is not essential.
Rex is quite happy to be outside during the day and sleeps inside at night. He will need a secure yard with high fencing.
Rex would make the perfect addition to any family.
For more information or to meet Rex please email foster carer Amy on amyeh34@hotmail.com Rex is in foster care in Pelaw Main, NSW (west of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Rex’s adoption fee is $500 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.
Medical notes
Happy and healthy dog.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two-week trial begins on the day of adoption.
