About Margot
When I asked the Ranger if he had any dogs suitable for rehoming in the Pound, he said “not really, just a lot of Wolfhounds at the moment”. I nearly gagged, Wolfhounds are some of my favourite dogs of all time!
So, Margot and Bruce (to be listed separately) were delivered.
Poor, skinny little Margot with a heavy chain around her neck, crawling with fleas, had been in the Pound for over a month, while the Ranger gave the owners time to get the money together to release her. But it was not to be, they disappeared into the sunset and Margot was on death row.
She is just divine! A whole month of not feeling the grass under her feet, seeing or feeling the sunshine, of not being able to see past the four walls of her pen, haven’t dented her spirits. She’s a beautiful girl with everyone she meets, people, dogs big and small.
So placid natured, friendly and well mannered. She’s always so, so happy to see me and sometimes jumps up in her enthusiasm, but is quickly learning that she can show her affections just as easily with her feet on the ground.
She’s not a huge girl but could be classed as a large medium.
Margot is in care at Moree, NSW.
Moree has daily flights to Sydney and further afield.
