About Pooh
Pooh and his two siblings, Winnie and Tigger (advertised separately) were born soon after their mum and dad began an extended stay at our boarding kennels, while their owner was away working.
As soon as they were weaned, they were surrendered to us to find homes for them.
Pooh, Winnie and Tigger are well grown pups, who have never known neglect or malnourishment. They are advancing well with their basic manners training.
All three have their mum’s stumpy tail, and Pooh has the most beautiful coloured coat that I hope we’ve captured in his pics. He has a laid back personality, interspersed with bursts of playtime.
He is beginning to have short trials at walking on leash, and is doing well.
He travels beautifully in the car, and makes friends with every dog he meets.
Their parents (Ada, American Bulldog x Staffy mix and dad Pedro, red Kelpie) were star boarders and coped with their extended confinement beautifully and always remained calm and placid. They were very loyal dogs, who bonded with my husband and I as if they had lived with us forever. Their mum Ada, had the most wonderful gentle nature, she even took to nursing some motherless kittens when she had a previous litter, her owner said. Pedro was a lovely natured boy as well.
They are in care at Moree, NSW.
Moree has daily flights to Sydney and further afield. Road transport passes through Moree on a fortnightly basis.
