About Koda *On Trial in Her New Home*
*KODA IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Meet fun-loving Koda!! She’s looking for a fantastic forever home who’ll give her lots of love as well as continuing on with her training and socialisation so she grows up to have marvellous manners; will it be with you?
Koda is a confident young dog who’d love a home with a playful pooch if you were to be at work for most of the day as she enjoys having company. This gorgeous girl gets along well with most dogs though can be a bit rough with the older little ones, so a similar sized dog in her forever home would suit her best especially if they’re up for a game of tug-o-war! She hasn’t met a cat though we’re thinking her playful exuberance might be a tad too much for one. Having Kelpie in her Koda does jump up especially when she’s super-excited so if her home was to include children they’d need to be dog-experienced older kids of at least 10 years as she’d accidentally bowl a little’un over.
Clever Koda has mastered the basics such as ‘sit’ and “NO” although sometimes her attention span gets in the way of remembering – life can be very distracting when you’re a wiggly-waggly fun-loving pooch! She is very food orientated (Schmackos are yum!) which will help with any further training you’d like to do with her. Koda has had some lead experience though will need some practice in her forever home, and as she can be quite strong a Gentle Leader or Halti is the way to go.
Adorable Koda is house/toilet-trained and really enjoys snoozing in front of the fire while her humans watch tv so we’d love a forever home where this indoor / outdoor lifestyle can continue. Koda’s not too fussed about where she sleeps except when it’s cold then she prefers to sleep inside near the fire or close to her beloved humans. Secure fencing, regular walks and doggie toys to play with will make Koda very happy indeed…….and did we mention she loves a game of tug-o-war????
So if you’ve got the time, patience and love required to continue bringing up Koda then please download and complete a SARG Dog Application form by following this link: http://www.sarg.net.au/adopt-a-pet/

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
