About Katana
Are you on the look out for a human sized lap dog? Meet Katana.
This stunning girl is such a gentle soul and loves nothing more than to snuggle up to her humans on the couch or anywhere she can fit!
Katana has been gaining lots of confidence in foster care but will need an owner who can show her lots of new places and people so she continues to grow in to a social, happy girl.
She is great with other dogs and loves a good game of bitey face or chasies. She can be a little intimidated by unknown dogs, but after an initial meet she warms up very quickly and is then happy to play whatever game is on the menu!
In care Katana has been learning some basic obedience. She knows “sit” and is working on “come”, “outside” and “give me 5”. She has also been learning to walk on the lead, which will need fine tuning. She is mostly toilet trained, but occasionally has the odd accident, so her new owner will need to be committed to on going training.
Although Katana will be a very large dog, she has quite low energy levels and is happy to curl up on the couch for most of the day as long as she is allowed to stretch her legs on a walk or at the dog park.
Katana will need to have another friendly dog at home to keep her company while you are out. She also needs to have access to indoors while you are out at she gets upset being locked outside. We are looking for a large breed experienced family who is committed to her going training and socialisation to ensure Katana grows into a well mannered, social and happy dog.
If you think you might be the right fit for Katana, please fill out an adoption enquiry form on our Fetching Dogs website.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
