About George
Hey, my name is George and I am a very special boy looking for a very special home. I am part of the Seinfeld Litter, and we came into care after we were surrendered. I am the biggest of the litter, but I am also the one that needs the most love.
I am a very shy, quiet little boy and it takes me a while to warm up to people. Once I feel comfortable with you, I will never leave your side. I am very loyal and I will make an excellent companion for the right person. I have this neat trick where I look you right in the eyes with my gorgeous puppy face and completely steal your heart.
I prefer a quiet, calm home as noises scare me quite easily. A home with older or no children is preferred, just because I am still quite nervous. I am crate trained, and my crate is my special place. Just give me a toy or chewy treat and I will sit calmly in my crate for hours. I am completely toilet trained and won't go to the toilet until I go outside!
I am housed with cats and other dogs and I am learning to play with them. Lucky for me, the dogs I live with love puppies and are very gentle and kind to me. They are teaching me that everything is okay and there is no need to be scared all the time. They're really helping me build my confidence and I am starting to play with them in the yard! I let them jump all over me and shower me with kisses, even if sometimes I get overwhelmed. I just need reassurance that no one wants to hurt me.
Please do not be put of by my nervous nature. I really am a sweet boy. I enjoy cuddles on the couch and I love my food very much, so training me is an absolute breeze! I may always be a little nervous but in the short time I have been in care, I have already made a tremendous improvement! Whoever adopts me just needs to make sure that I am always a part of the family, I receive lots of training and I am socialised very well.
Well that's all from me, hope to hear from you soon xox love George
Adoption details
To enquire about an animal available for adoption, please contact us via Facebook or send an email to bellevieanimalrescue@gmail.com. We will respond within 48 hours and send a questionnaire for you to complete.
Applications are not approved on a first in, best dressed basis, rather we will assess on your suitability. Should we believe that the animal you have applied for may not suit your home or lifestyle, we will work with you until we find your perfect match.
Upon approval of your application, we will organise a mutually convenient time and location to do the meet and greet. If the meet is successful, there will be an adoption contract to complete and sign and the full adoption amount is required unless previously organised with Belle Vie Animal Rescue. Your adoption pack will include a copy of the contract for you, all vet work and a microchip change of ownership form, which will be filled out and submitted by BVAR at the end of the adoption trial.
