Frankie and Lucy

Frankie and Lucy have been together since Lucy came home as a puppy and Frankie as a 6 month old. They are very bonded and love playing together and chasing each other around the house.

Lucy the cavoodle is super friendly and loves every dog and person and her favourite game in the park is to have the ball thrown for her, which she fetches and then runs up to the other dogs to show off her toys. She also absolutely loves to swim and if the ball is thrown into the water she’ll swim out and bring it back as many times as you’re willing to stand there throwing it!

Then we have Frankie and in true dachshund style, she won’t fetch the ball back for you! Frankie is extremely affectionate with those she knows and loves snuggles and belly rubs and also the evenings when it’s snuggle up time watching TV. Unfortunately during the first 6 months of Frankie’s life she wasn’t socialised with people or dogs or ever walked. Her owner has worked extremely hard with a trainer in helping Frankie’s dislike of other dogs when out walking. Once she knows other dogs that visit regularly she seems fine around them. If visiting the beach with these two, Lucy will be swimming and Frankie will be digging which is one of her favourite pastimes. Frankie is also highly food motivated and she has a dislike of backpacks and briefcases.

Both these two love the great outdoors and are fully housetrained and used to the doggy door. They are both desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. We would like them to stay together and would suggest no cats or toddlers.
