Roxy ~Terrier x Cattledog (on trial 23/9/18)

Roxy is a beautiful, chocolate and white, 9 week old puppy with a wonderful nature. Roxy’s mum is a terrier x stumpy tail cattle dog. Roxy enjoys playing with soft toys and pulls small play blankets around. She likes searching the yard for treats and sleeping snuggled up in the dog bed.

Roxy has been socialized with other dogs, cats and children who are respectful of animals. As with all puppies, she will need someone patient to teach her manners and how to walk on a lead. As she gets older, she will need to be walked on a regular basis. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.

Roxy will grow up to be a small to medium size dog. It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Roxy. If you don't have another dog to keep her company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time.

Roxy needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. She will be wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. She can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).

Roxy's siblings Chaze and Sally are also available for adoption.

As Roxy is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's approximately 5 months old.
