About Wally
Wally is looking for a very special family to welcome him to their hearts and homes for whatever time he has left.
Wally was left at a pound at the age of 14, he was confused and alone, not knowing where his family had gone. We knew we couldn't leave him there, so we took him in and now we need to find his forever home.
Wally loves relaxing and snoozing the days away on his bed, and he would happily trade that for your bed or the couch. He is so friendly with every single person he meets and would love the company of children too. He enjoys going out for a daily stroll and spending time in the sunshine.
Wally will make a fantastic office dog, he will greet everyone with a smile and a wagging tail! He knows when it's time for you to get stuff done too - that's ideal nap time for him!
Wally is an old man, he knows what he likes and what he doesn't have time for. He is looking for a retirement home without cats, they aren't really his cup of tea. He would prefer either a home without another dog, he is happier hanging out on his own.
Wally enjoys travelling in the car, is toilet trained, and walks nicely on the lead.
*Medical Notes* Wally has some medical issues which a SCAR team member can discuss in detail with you once you've applied.
**Application Process**
When on the Petrescue Profile push "enquire about this pet" button. Follow the prompts. In the message section please place information about the home you can provide. This includes current/past pets, children, and any other information you can provide. We aim to reply to all applications within 5 working days. Please note all of our dog meet and greets occur at the adoption center in Campbellfield. The majority of animals are in a foster home not at the shelter.
Thank you.
