About Roberto
Ridiculously good-looking Roberto is a super happy, beautifully natured, affectionate puppy with a HUGE heart! Despite his pony-like dimensions, this darling boy loves nothing more than curling up on the sofa with his foster parents and falling asleep - or on their laps, if he can!
Roberto can't wait to find his special new humans and start living his best life. He'll absolutely thrive with ongoing behavioural and lead training, regular healthy exercise, and lots of hands-on love.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be with adoring people who'll lavish me with attention, hugs and stacks of toys to play with! I'll need a rigorous daily workout (do you need a running buddy?), access to a backyard or garden (I *love* a good sniff around outside), and will preferably be able to enjoy your company all day. I'm definitely not the best choice for full-time workers or people who'll leave me home on my own for hours at a time.
A consistent training routine is also a must - so if you've got experience in that area, or are dedicated to learning how to help me become my best doggy self, that would be perfect!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Super high - I'm still a puppy, after all! In the mornings I'm full of beans - my foster mum reckons it sometimes feels like a tornado's blowing through the house! But a big long walk or run (in quiet streets, preferably - I don't like loud noises or busy traffic very much) gives me a chance to blow off steam and settle calmly into the day.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I loved the children in my previous home, and they loved me - however, due to my size and enthusiasm for life, I'm best suited to a family with older kids only.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I think an older dog with a friendly, patient temperament would be a great match for me! I can get a bit nervous around younger, more confident dogs.
I haven't met any cats yet, so we'll have to play that one by ear.

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry-dogs. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
