About **On Trial** Archie
Introducing Archie!!
Are you looking for your four-legged, best friend? Then this beautiful, six-year-old boy is first in line.
Archie is your typical border collie. He loves going for walks (he walks beautifully on lead), chasing a ball and returning it to you with the cutest little nudge of his nose, going for runs, and playing tug-of-war with his hoomans or fur siblings. Did I mention that he loves to chase a ball – he really loves to chase a ball! He will sit at your feet or on your lap for love and cuddles and follow you everywhere like your best friend should.
Archie is sharing his foster home with other border collies and two pussy cats who he is very, very interested in (so he would probably do better in a home with no cats or chooks). He is trying to learn to share his toys and his hoomans, and he can be a little weary when his fur siblings get in his face.
It is obvious that time has been invested in this beautiful boy with obedience training, as he knows how to sit, drop, roll over, beg, wait for his food and will sit patiently with you while waiting to cross a road. However, he will still benefit from more training, as this will help him bond with you. He is very agile and would probably excel in agility training.
He will need a home where he is included in everyday family life, is provided with plenty of stimulation so that he doesn't become bored or destructive, and is allowed inside when his family is home (and sleep inside at night).
What more could you ask for your four-legged best friend? This boy is an absolute sweetheart.
Archie comes C5 vaccinated, desexed and microchipped, and with a lead and collar.
