About Sox
*Located in Cairns*
Dog friendly: yes (takes a few minutes to warm up)
Cat friendly: Yes
Kids: Yes - best suited to older children
House trained: mostly outside dog
Energy Level: Medium to high
Sox loves to play and lap up all the attention you can possibly give her! She loves her people and just wants you to know she is there for you always! To stop her sister getting the attention Sox will literally sit on top of her and make sure she is the closest for pats at all times! It is her favourite thing and plus she loves her humans that much! Sox is just so happy for her new lease on life she often bounds and leaps about trying to talk to you. Sox can get all her legs off the ground and spring up in the air for your attention, so will probably need a reasonable sized fence. She is learning her basic commands; her foster carers are teaching her jumping especially is not allowed! She is a smart cookie for sure. Wait did you say cookie? Sox loves a treat of any kind and her yummy dinners but isn’t a fan of green vegetables! She will happily swap bowls with her sister and foster brother sharing food around.
When Sox goes on outings she still finds them a bit unnerving, but is trying to be brave. Her foster mum thinks a few more trips away from her comfort zone and she will be very excited to go out…especially if the car trip doesn’t end at the vets! Plus cars are also new for her and she still gets a little car sick (never vomiting), however is getting better at looking out the window so seems to be settling. Sox doesn’t mind chasing a ball and is working on bringing it back 90% of the time…if her foster brother ever gives her a chance to catch it!
Sox deserves the best second chance! She will be a loyal, loving and friendly dog who will give her family many laughs and adventures together. She is curious, cuddly and can’t get enough of all the good things a safe, warm home give her.
