About Chipper ~ Kelpie x BC (on trial 13/10/18)
Chipper is a little ray of exuberant sunshine! He is one year old, medium sized, a soft and fluffy magical mystery breed that we guess includes Kelpie, Border Collie and maybe some German Shepherd. He can't wait to become part of a family who will shower him with love as he has so much love to give in return!
He is at a great age where he has outgrown puppy naughtiness but is still young enough to really bond with his new family and respond well to training.
Chipper has plenty of energy and is looking for an active family who can give him lots of daily exercise. A large yard would be ideal.
He loves to play with all other dogs and would really like to go to a home with another dog to be his best pal. He is a bit too boisterous with cats but could share a home with them with a patient introduction.
Chipper is very intelligent and eager to please but needs more training to live up to his full potential. If not getting enough attention he may bark and dig, so will not be appropriate for full time workers. He is a good guard dog and is always alert to anything going on so will be great protection. He will be fine with children over the age of 5, but may knock younger children over whilst he is still learning not to jump up when excited.
Chipper lives for belly rubs, cuddles, playing and outdoor adventures. He would love to be included in all aspects of family life, from snuggling inside in the evenings, to beach and park outings and holidays.
Chipper is a gorgeous boy who will be a loving and loyal member of the family.
To enquire or apply to adopt Chipper, please contact his foster mum Katie via email at katiesteele_@hotmail.com. Chipper is in foster care in the Belmont area, NSW (south of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Chipper’s adoption fee is $450 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.
Medical notes
Happy and healthy boy
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom of the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire: https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two-week trial begins on the day of adoption.
