Likes, Dislikes, Fears, Endearments and Quirks
Despite not getting much attention lately Oscar is still a well behaved boy who asks for nothing and is low maintenance.
He is just a beautiful, friendly soul who loves everyone and everything. He gets very excited when meeting new dogs and if a child runs away he will chase thinking it is a game. But he is gentle.
While he may destroy his own toys he has never touched anything else even as a puppy.
Oscar has been a loved pet who has been well looked after. He is affectionate, caring, good with kids and other dogs.
Ideal Owner
Oscar is a rare find because he is low maintenance and well behaved.
As Oscar is people orientated he would love to be part of family activities.

______________________________________
We strongly recommend you read the profile carefully where everything we know about the dog/s is outlined.
If you are interested in a dog we invite you to submit an application form so we can learn more about your circumstances. This is to ensure we match the right dog to the best home. (one form per family - not per dog) https://www.dogadoption.org.au/expression-of-interest---adoption.html
This is for the benefit of both the dog and the potential new owner(s). It also saves time and uses limited resources more effectively.
Once the essential criteria is confirmed we put you in touch with the carer for a more detailed chat with a view of meeting the dog(s).
If you decide to proceed with the adoption we make a time for a house check.
The adoption fee is then paid (there is a 2 week cooling off period.) Please note we offer a 2 week cooling off period but do not usually allow trials. See here for the difference https://www.dogadoption.org.au/can-my-dogs-new-owner-have-a-trial-period-before-deciding-to-adopt.html
Foster carers are also able to adopt foster dogs once approved.
