About Betty
This is Betty. She is only a young girl at 1 year old and was on urgent rescue from the pound after being dumped, so DCH just snapped her up!
Betty was a bit shy at first, but within days she settled and became very friendly – turns out she just loves company. Now, she’s happy chasing around a toy mouse , or alternatively decides to curl up in a warm spot for half the day!
Betty also has an amazing, big purr and a sweet little meow – a communicator. She’s very curious, and has the most adorable little face when she’s checking out what’s happening around the house.
She is used to other cats, and – from the speed with which she’s settled into care – would be likely to fit in to just about any family environment.
Betty is already de-sexed, vaccinated and microchipped , so she is ready to meet her furever family.
If you would like to meet Betty at her foster home in Penrith, please call Steven on 0416 075 528.

Our animals are rescued from various pounds and shelters and placed in Foster Care until a permanent home can be found. Our volunteer Foster Carers are located throughout Sydney, Australia and are only too happy to assist you.
DCH Animal Adoptions relies solely on our adoption fees and the generous support of the community to continue our rescue work. Many times, we are faced with large veterinary bills due to the illness and injury that comes along with looking after pound rescues.
