About Charlotte
*FOSTER TO ADOPT*
Hey hey! My name is Charlotte!
I'm a super enthusiastic, bubbly girl who is currently seeking a loving forever home. I was surrendered to Lort Smith when my carers could no longer give me the attention that I need.
I'm incredibly enthusiastic about all aspects of life! I need to learn how to channel my boundless energy a little bit more appropriately and this is where you come in. I'm searching for someone that will commit to obedience training with me, take me on daily walks, give me lots of mental stimulation and continue to work on my socialisation with other dogs.
I also will require an outlet for my prey drive and herding instincts, I do love to chase birds and cats but I also try to round some of the dogs up at the local dog park, which they do not enjoy much. Do not get me wrong, I absolutely love other dogs but my instinct to herd is just so strong that this was my only outlet, this is why it is a good idea for me to go to a home where I could go to herding school.
Once I've had training and establish a routine with daily walks to burn my energy I will grow in to a well mannered dog!
It's recommended that I go to a home that does not have young children as I may bowl them over with my playfulness and I tend to not be overly aware of my size.
Whilst having my vet check, the vets discovered that I have very mild hip dysplasia, the staff will be able to discuss my future needs with you but currently I am having no issues and require no treatment.
I do also have very sensitive skin, this is why I will be a foster to adopt whilst on a food trial and medication, my veterinarian is trying to figure out if I have food allergies or if I have a chronic skin condition.
If you're looking for a fun loving lass to go on adventures with then look no further, I just may be the one for you!
