Tennessee is a 12 week old kelpie x from a litter of 8. Tennessee is a friendly, playful and outgoing puppy.

Tennessee is looking for a loving home that will give him lots of attention, training and mental stimulation. Tennessee is not shy and will run right up to anyone for a cuddle and play.

When Tennessee first came into care he did not listen very well and would jump up constantly. He will now sit (most of the time!) for a pat when commanded and he will calm down quickly too. Tennessee is still learning his food manners but he has improved a lot. Tennessee is learning to wait then sit when commanded before he is given his food.

Tennessee has been in foster care with a 2 year old, 5 year old and 9 year old. Tennessee loves kids and will jump on them because he wants to play with them.
As he is still very young he will require training in order to grow and be the best dog he can be.

Tennessee will be happy with a home with or without a dog as long as he is part of the family and not just left outside. Tennessee has spent the last 4 weeks with one of his litter mates, Virginia. He has not been introduced to any other dogs yet because he has not had all of his vaccinations. If you are looking to adopt Tennessee and have another dog, your dog will need to be up to date with all of his/her vaccinations and will need to meet Tennessee prior to adoption.

Tennessee is used to spending the day outside with Virginia when his foster carers are at work. If left alone Tennessee will chew anything that looks interesting so he needs entertaining toys to keep him occupied.

Tennessee is used to sleeping inside and will be looking for a home where he is welcome to come inside to be with his family and to sleep at night. Tennessee has not yet figured out toilet training so he will need some more help with that.
