About Pugly
Pugly is a 14 month old puggle (pug x beagle) who has recently come into care from a family that just didn’t have the time to deal with a young energetic puppy. ....and energetic he is!
Pugly is currently around the 9 kilo mark.
He’s not terrific on leash. But over time he will get there. Pugly needs a walk every day.
Pugly has come from being in an only pet household into a household with other dogs and cats and has adapted well.
He has recently been desexed and had umbilical hernia surgery.
Pugly is crate trained and sleeps inside in his crate without a peep.
We are still working on his house training (crate training is helping with this!).
Pugly would do best in a home with another dog that has the ability to keep up with his extreme play time runs. Or in a household that has humans home most of the time. The young man lives for attention - human or dog kind. We have been working on his impulse control with small training sessions, but obviously this would have to be carried out for sometime, if not the rest of his life.
Pugly is cat friendly. And dog friendly - but he currently does not know when to stop when interacting with other dogs - but he is learning.
He loves a good game of tug. And is very food motivated.
If you would like to apply for Pugly, please fill out the adoption application listed below in adoption details.
Pugly will only be rehomed in the Canberra and surrounds region. And rehoming will be based on best fit for our little guy.
