About Zed
Zed came into our care after his ‘greeder’ declared that he was “too slow getting on with it.” Hopefully that gives you an idea of his life so far. Although only young, Zed has obviously had very little human interaction in his life. He was absolutely terrified when I first met him, and has been slowly slowly trying to overcome his fears with the help of his carer and her other dogs.
Zed is still skittish and nervous, but he takes great comfort from the other dogs, so he MUST go to a home with another small dog. Still at the moment, he ‘puts up with’ being picked up and cuddled by his human, but slow and steady is the way we’ve been going.
He loves the comfort and security of his own crate, and travels beautifully in one in the car. He has been having short stints on leash, and is coping better with this as each day goes by.
The home I am looking for is this.....a patient one, one where the human/s REALLY want to give back to this precious boy. A quiet home, without children, where his humans would be home most of the time, and able to take his further rehabilitation at Zed’s own pace. Another small dog in the home is a necessity and secure fencing, so he can’t run, if he takes fright.
Please explain as much about yourselves as possible. Your living arrangements and lifestyle. Your work hours, and how long Zed would be alone during the day, if at all. Do you have other pets?
Please describe your fencing.
We are located in Moree, northern NSW. We do have daily flights to Sydney and beyond, which can be arranged at new owners cost.
