About Monty (DL1993) & Charlie (DL1994)
Monty and Charlie are a pair of gorgeous, bonded Kelpie x’s, who have grown up together their whole lives.
Monty is a relaxed dog, and he’s both happy to go for a nice long walk as he is to sit on the couch with you to watch TV. He’s calms and enjoys attention from other dogs and people and gets along fine with just about everyone he meets!
Charlie seems to have a bit more Kelpie in him and tends to have a lot of energy all day. While he behaves when unattended (probably due to Monty!), he requires more attention and multiple walks a day. He doesn’t like to sit still but sleeps well enough through the night just waiting for you to wake up. Being older dogs, they like their peace so are better suited to older children who will respect their space.
Both boys tend to have limited exposure to other dogs, and so haven’t quite got the grasp on the doggy hierarchy! Both seem to share the alpha/leader role and so they can be a bit confusing at times with what they want, because of this they’re prone to little squabbles between one another. Once that is understood though, they are a delight and always happy to give you love!
If you'd like to meet Monty & Charlie, please email us to apply.
