About Ella ~ Mastiff x (on trial 15/9/18)
Hullo my darlings! I’m Ella, a 5-year young Mastiff and I’m so full of love. I have an amazing voice but apparently the opera isn’t hiring so I’m looking for a fur-ever home! As the Beatles sang “all you need is love…and a dog”. I was just saying to myself this morning “Ella” I said, “Ella you know what you need? You need a person that is all yours”.
I’ve even been practicing my tricks just for you! I can sit, shake and catch food with ease! I’m an easy-going lady who is more than happy to receive pats and naps all day. My fur is super soft and so ready for pats. Did I mention I like pats? It’s okay, if I haven’t, I’ll let you know if you’re not giving me enough.
Right now, my foster mum lets me sleep wherever I want (don’t worry, she’s a pushover), but I’ll go anywhere you want me. I prefer inside and absolutely love a comfy dog bed to curl up on, though I’d also absolutely love a cuddle in bed with you if you’d let me. Promise I won’t chew up your slippers!
I live with other dogs too and get along with them great - though other females are not my favourite and it takes a while for me to be comfortable with them. I’m not an escape artist, but I’ll need secure fencing about 5 feet high.
I’ve got a few hip problems (I’ve heard all the granny jokes) so you’ll have to go easy on me at times. They never cause me any trouble but a girl like me must be careful, darling!
I’m all done up and ready to go to my new home!
For more information or to meet me, please contact my foster mum Tiarn at tiarnlouise@gmail.com. I am in the Beresfield area and am available for adoption interstate.
Ella’s adoption fee is $300 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see the adoption process and all of our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Medical notes
Happy and healthy girl.
Hip issues so must take care not to overdue things.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format:
https://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
or PDF: https://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
