Hi there, I'm Bean!

I found myself here at the shelter when I became lost and some lovely people took me to the vet. The helpful vet lady would have loved to have sent me straight home but because I didn't have a microchip she had no choice but to send me on to the Shoalhaven Animal Shelter in the hope that my owner would come looking for me. Sadly they didn't and I'm now looking for a new forever home.

I'm the life of the party, a real glass is half full type of guy. If you want a fun loving doggy friend that will keep up with your busy lifestyle then I'm your guy. I'd like to go for long daily walks and runs and would LOVE to have a new owner that will take on the challenge of training me! I need to learn things and need an owner that is not afraid of putting in the time to train me. If you do I will bond with you and you'll have a partner in crime to take with you everywhere.

I'd be best walked on a halti or harness during my training as I'm super strong if I don't say so myself. Because of my strength I'd be best suited to a home with no young children, I might accidentally knock them over and I'd feel just terrible. Sometimes my exuberance gets the better of me!

I do like to be the king pin when I socialize with other canine friends so if you've got another dog at home that doesn't need to be boss dog # 1 then we may just get along. Bring them in to meet me and we'll see if I approve otherwise a home with no other doggies would be ideal.
