About Blondie
Blondie was found in an abandoned house by a vet team in a remote part of the NT. She was taken to a wonderful rescuer and foster carer who cared for her till she was well and can now find a forever home to retire to.
Blondie is about the height of a small Kelpie and is rather rotund having enjoyed too much of her foster carers home cooked food. So reduced portions will do her good. We estimate she is about 7yrs old.
We have no idea of her breed
She doesn't bark, likes to lie in the sun and enjoys cuddles but is quite independent. She sound be ok with cats, very used to other dogs and may have spent time with children as nothing seems to bother her much.
Blondie needs to walk on lead which will take some time and patience but is so food-focused treats will help.
She just had a full dental including pre-anesthetic blood tests indicating she is good health.
Blondie flew from Alice Springs to Sydney and is now in foster care in Kingsford near the University of NSW.
