About Kirby (On Trial 27/8/18)
Kirby: 10 week old Mixed Breed Female
If you are looking for the cuddliest puppy with the softest fur, your search is over.
Kirby is a stunning little girl with a lovely nature. While we don’t know her breed, we are waiting for her DNA results, which are due very soon.
After a bit of a rough start, Kirby is thriving and thoroughly enjoying life. However, Kirby would love a permanent home and a family to call her very own.
Being very food motivated, Kirby is going to be quite easy to train. She already knows her name and the word, ‘Come’ and is learning to sit. Toilet training is a work in progress, however, she is learning to go to the door when she needs to, especially first thing in the morning.
Kirby gets along well with her big foster sister, Bindi, Being a smart girl, Kirby very cleverly hides under the lounge when they are playing to protect herself, if necessary. Kirby will be going to her first lesson at puppy school in md to late August. However, like any other puppy, Kirby will need to continue her training after her adoption.
With her smooth coat that can easily be cared for with just a bath and the occasional brushing, Kirby is very low maintenance. Kirby would be happy as an only dog given plenty of love, attention and exercise, but wouldn’t mind sharing the love with other dogs in the home.
If you feel you can provide this deserving dog a loving, permanent home, please contact Nora on 0418 402 150 or email dogrescuemudgee@gmail.com. Kirby is in foster care in Orange, NSW.
Recently rescued from the pound by Dog Rescue Mudgee, Kirby is looking for a permanent home.
Kirby will be de-sexed, when she is old enough. She is vaccinated, free of fleas and worms and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $350.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format:
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
